1.Search The Images On The Profile
First thing you can do is Image Search the photos that are posted on this profile. This is the fastes and the most accurate thing you can do to catfish a profile. Just take the profile picture (Download/Copy URL) and go to Google images and Upload/Paste URL in the search box. After you have done that , you will see the real source of the image. If there aren’t any results, that means the person is using real images.
2.Number Of Images
Most of the fake profiles have just one profile picture, and maybe 2-3 other ones… This is a big sign that the profile is fake… On Facebook , people post lots of images, and having just 2-3 on a profile is not that convincing that the profile is real.
3.Activity On Timeline
Fake profiles often do not have any content or posts on their timelines. Or they do not have any info about them, just the basic ones, which is not a good sign that they are real.
